Justin made reservations for dinner at
Mona Lisa, a local fondue
restaurant. We love this place, but it is WAY too expensive to go very often. For our anniversary, Grandma Geri gave us a gift certificate and it took us a month to find time to use it. We ordered the four course fondue for two. The first course was a
cesear salad, the appetizer was cheese fondue with apple slices, grapes, bread, and
vegetables. For the main course they bring a grill right to your table where you get to grill your own meat, we got the traditional plate which included chicken, pork,
fillet Mignon, shrimp and alligator
brawts (they were great!). For dessert we had milk chocolate fondue with strawberries, apple slices, cheesecake, brownie bites, pretzels, cookies, pound cake and marshmallows to dip in it...YUM! After all that food you kind of roll out of the
restaurant. If you haven't been yet, we highly recommend it! I didn't take the camera so here are some pictures from their website.
