Katie Jo....

From happy to mad in two seconds flat.
Here it comes...
We're getting closer....
There it is!!!

Pumpkin Carving Party...

Our friends Jared and Jacque decided to have a pumpkin carving party for FHE Monday night. So they layed out the tarp in the garage and Jacque made a whole bunch of Cinnamon rolls. Knowing that Jacque would be playing host, I made sure to bring the camera so she could have pictures of Katie Jo with her pumpkin. She didn't like touching the pumpkin seeds, but she enjoyed playing in the water buckets Jacque had set out for everyone to wash up.

Lexie's Bandages...

Lexie had surgery on Friday to get spayed and have her dew claws removed. Justin picked her up from the vet and I had to work so I had him take pictures and send them to me so I could see her all bandaged up. We finally took her bandages off today, and she's a much happier dog!! The stitches don't seem to bother her at all. Now we just have to endure the next two weeks before she can have a bath.

Seattle

Heather and I went to Seattle yesterday for a Union meeting. It also happened to be the first day of the brand new "airport of the future" at the Seattle ticket counter, so we took some pictures of the new process. It looks like it will really streamline things. We were considering going to Seattle early in the day to get some shopping in downtown before the meeting, but decided we didn't want to try the bus system.

Walk a Mile in My Shoes...

I've been waiting for my mom to send me these pictures of Mason. I received two pairs of shoes for my birthday and Mason had to try on both pairs. The first pair looked like hip waders when he stood up! He's such a funny kid!!

Family Pictures...

Tim and his little family came over last Saturday to help celebrate my birthday, and I couldn't stop myself from making them sit still just long enough for a family picture. Even though this isn't a great picture (not my idea of a terrific backdrop) Tim did agree to another Family Pic closer to Christmas for their Christmas cards...so I'll have another chance. So here they are. Jen, Tim, Kaden and Mason.

Before they settled down for a picture I had to let the boys run off some energy. One thing I love about Tim and Jen is that they don’t just send the boys out to play, they go out and play with the boys. Tim and Kaden were playing soccer, and Mason was chasing Lexie around the yard trying to catch her and pick her up. Each time he succeeded he would let her go and start again.
