Sumpter Flea Market...

Sumpter Oregon has a huge flea market every Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. This was our first trip, and it was crazy. The flea market takes up the entire town, which isn't a lot to begin with, and also covers the fair grounds. We found a booth right off that sold funny hats that look like you have crazy hair and had to take some pictures. We had a turkey leg for lunch and wandered around the booths all afternoon. It started raining when we got up to the fair grounds and tried to wait it out. We did walk away with some purchases. I bought a pretty cool, old Care Bears lunch box...in excellent condition...to take to work, and some cinnamon and caramel kettle corn. Mom bought a shape ball from a Tupperware booth. And we ordered some Tupperware that she didn't have in stock. All in all, it was a great day!

Watching Faith...

Tonight we came over to Mom's house and she was watching Faith. I had bought a bouncer from a girl at work for her and we had run down to the store to get batteries for it so we could try it out. I couldn't believe my mom had not ever given her a bath, we tried it out, and she did great! That girl loves to be without clothes, watch out Jen!!

Our Little Singer...

Since Sarah isn't allowed to take piano lessons yet, much to her dismay, she chooses to come listen to her favorite Primary songs. She finds the song in the book and asks Justin to find it online. She hits the play button and enters her own wonderful world of music.

Time for a Change...

I've been thinking about cutting and coloring my hair for a couple months, and finally made the phone call last week to make an appointment. Friday afternoon, I got it done! I've had blonde highlights since high school and I was ready for something different, so I went dark. I was a little nervous, but the more I look at it the more I like it...Here it is...

The Joys of Summer Heat...

It has been a miserable weekend at the Law house! With yesterday's temperatures reaching 95 we were sweating without our A/C! Thursday, after piano lessons, Justin and his mom borrowed a window A/C unit from his grandparents. It has done wonders for keeping our bedroom cool, but the rest of the house is only a few degree's cooler than outside...if cooler at all!! It is supposed to get up to 93 today, since Justin and I are both working, we decided to leave the girls outside, so they wouldn't bake inside the house!! We're scheduled to get a new A/C installed on Tuesday...and Tuesday can't come fast enough!!

Only Three Weeks Left...

With only three weeks left in class, Justin has got to start working his dog!! Friday we came early and went to the park in Payette for dinner. During the Apple Blossom Festival there are vendors set up in the park all week long selling hand-dipped corndogs, home made fries and fresh squeezed lemonade. Yumm!! Mom brought Lucy to class, and as much as Lucy enjoyed getting to go somewhere, I think she'd had enough after the first hour!

Every time Justin puts Lexie on a down stay, she immediately flips over and begs you to rub her belly.

There was a large group at the park having a bar-b-q which proved to be a great distraction for the dogs. While we were on break, a little boy came over to check out Abby and Lucy.
We had the cat food and tennis ball test this week. April sets out open cans of cat food on a table cloth layed out on the ground and they all have to just lay there and smell it...by the way, dogs love cat food!
After they're tortured with the cat food, we started throwing a tennis ball over their heads. The theory is, if your dog doesn't like cat food, they'll like tennis balls!!

Frisbee Lexie...

Lexie decided to get herself stuck in the frisbee. It was good for a laugh...so we thought we would share.

She kept chewing on it....trying to get out!

It only took her a few minutes to break free!!

She continues to enjoy the frisbee....but only time will tell if she decides to get stuck again!!

Madison Krystal...

Justin's parents were babysitting Maddie last night. For Mother's Day we gave each of our mom's a Scentsy warmer and three scents, but we made them pick them out. So we went over to Justin's parents for dinner and to pick out scents. Maddie was loving all of the attention. It's not often a grandkid gets to be at Grandma and Grandpa's by themselves!

Amy's going to hate me for posting this, but Maddie kept putting her finger up her nose then directly into her mouth...Sorry Amy, I couldn't resist.
