Maddie Turns 2...

Madison Krystal turned two on Friday, July 25th...Here's the short version of her little two year old birthday party!

Timmy and Sarah sporting their Strawberry Shortcake glasses

Emma showing off her Strawberry Shortcake tattoo
Yes, even Braden got a tattoo in honor of his sister's birthday!
Sarah giving Maddie a birthday kiss, yes Maddie always kisses with her mouth open
Maddie and her cake, can you believe that this girl did not dig in? JD tried to give her a taste of the frosting to get her started, but she didn't want it.
Maddie was so excited to open presents
Great Grandma Ann and Grandpa Caryl gave Maddie a two-dollar bill
I've never seen a two-year-old so excited for clothes!
She would hold her presents up with her feet so she could use her little hands to open them
She loves her baby dolls, and had to give each one a kiss

Happy Birthday Maddie!!!

Small Town Circus...

Monday night while I was at work I got an email from Justin:"Find a trade so we can go to the Circus." So that's exactly what I did. Thanks to Victoria for working my last four hours. It was a pretty fun little circus complete with tigers, lions, trapeze, a clown, juggling, and elephants. It's no Celebrity Circus, but it was still fun!

Grandma's 73rd Birthday...

We had a birthday celebration for Grandma Geri last Friday. Chris and Tosha were in town for his ten year reunion, so that was a big surprise for Grandma. Uncle Dean couldn't be there so he sent her 73 red roses...ever wondered what that looks like?? It's HUGE! They wouldn't fit in a vase so they were in a basket instead.

Cousins...Brycen and Faith
Chris, Brycen & Faith

Grandma loves frogs and wanted a new one for her flower bed, I'm not sure this is what she had in mind, but when we saw it we couldn't resist.
We spent a lot of time Friday night watching Faith and Brycen play

Memories...

I saw this game on a friends blog and it looked like fun. You don't have to join in, but if you want to, read the instructions below...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if it is recent or years old, silly or serious -- anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you! If you don't want to play on your blog, or you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

YMCA...

Friday we watched Tim's kids for the day and decided to wear them out by taking them to the Y to swim. My friend Jacque and her kids, Kate and Ty, met us there. Since the boys can't really swim, the Y is perfect because they have a little kid section that is shallow enough for them to walk in. Justin took them on the water slide, they were too chicken at first but as soon as they saw Kate do it, they decided they could be tough too! Faith Marie didn't have a swim suit so I borrowed Kate's baby swim suit from Jacque and bought a little swimmer diaper from the front desk...She's so stinkin' cute I can't stand it! She really liked sitting in the water!

Mason running through the water
Faith in her swim suit
Kate had a lot of fun playing with the boys.
Kaden turning on the sprinkler

After a while, they're lips turned blue and Justin took them over to the hot tub and let them get their legs wet.
Faith in her super cute robe...Thanks Jacque!!
When it was time to go Mason asked if they could come back tomorrow

An Afternoon at the Park...

So before we could go to the park, we had to stop by and feed the pigs our left over McDonald's fries. The boys thought the pigs were pretty cool.

Now, on to the park. After we were done swimming and had our Happy Meals (a trip to town with Aunt Jamie and Uncle Justin is not complete without a Happy Meal!) we went to the park to burn off any left over energy they had.
We decided on this park because Alex loves the "big twisty slide" and we figured the boys would too.

No Justin really doesn't hold Faith like this, she moved into this position all on her own.
I have to show you her really cute outfit. Of course when Tim sends her to me he packs a "Daddy" outfit!

I'm always amazed at how well these two play together. I'm sure they fight at home, but they were best friends all day long!

My mom picked them up from our house and all three of them slept on the way back to Payette!

Coeur D'Alene Sting Soccer...

Saturday my mom and I drove to Boise to watch her cousin's daughter in the US Club Soccer National Cup Regionals. We only saw their first game, and we won't talk about the score, but it was fun to hang out and watch the game. Man, sometimes I miss being young and in shape!
These were my two best shots of Sarah.
