Faith's First Plane Ride...

This weekend my mom and I took Faith for her first plane ride. She, of course, didn't have any idea what was going on! We were headed to Medford, OR to introduce Faith to her Great Grandpa (my mom's dad) and have lunch with Betty and Cecial (my Dad's Godparents). Faith was a fantastic traveler. The flight to Portland was pretty full so she had to sit on mom's lap and she didn't sleep at all. From Portland to Medford the flight was only about a quarter full so we put her in her car seat and she slept for the 45 minute flight.
We had lunch at the Black Bear Diner. It was pretty tasty and Faith ate a ton of french fries. It was so good to see Betty and Cecial. No matter how many years it is between visits...they never change!
By the end of lunch Faith had warmed up to them enough to give kisses goodbye.

The rest of the day we spent just hanging out with Grandpa Bob and Grandma Connie. Faith chased around her balloon she got at lunch.

While Faith is pretty easy going and doesn't require a whole lot to entertain her, I thought she might be getting kind of tired of taking the toys out of her back pack and putting them back in again. So I found a video clip on youtube on my phone of Dora the Explorer...She watched it over and over shouting "Dora!" "Boots!" "Dora!" Boots!" Hooray for Blackberry's!
Sunday morning we had some orange rolls for breakfast and then headed back to the airport for our flight home. Faith, again, got to sit in her car seat on the Medford to Portland flight...and slept. Then sat on our laps from Portland to Boise. The trip was pretty quick. We left Boise Saturday morning at 7:05 am and were back to Boise Sunday afternoon at 2:05 pm. Now we're getting started planning a day with the boys. They were pretty bummed that Faith got to go on a plane without them. We're thinking the Seattle Children's Museum...Anyone been there?
