An Afternoon at the Park...

So before we could go to the park, we had to stop by and feed the pigs our left over McDonald's fries. The boys thought the pigs were pretty cool.

Now, on to the park. After we were done swimming and had our Happy Meals (a trip to town with Aunt Jamie and Uncle Justin is not complete without a Happy Meal!) we went to the park to burn off any left over energy they had.
We decided on this park because Alex loves the "big twisty slide" and we figured the boys would too.

No Justin really doesn't hold Faith like this, she moved into this position all on her own.
I have to show you her really cute outfit. Of course when Tim sends her to me he packs a "Daddy" outfit!

I'm always amazed at how well these two play together. I'm sure they fight at home, but they were best friends all day long!

My mom picked them up from our house and all three of them slept on the way back to Payette!

Coeur D'Alene Sting Soccer...

Saturday my mom and I drove to Boise to watch her cousin's daughter in the US Club Soccer National Cup Regionals. We only saw their first game, and we won't talk about the score, but it was fun to hang out and watch the game. Man, sometimes I miss being young and in shape!
These were my two best shots of Sarah.

Independance Day...

Friday my mom came over to spend the day with us to celebrate the 4th of July. We started out with the Middleton parade. Sorry no pictures, trust me, you didn't miss much! Then we went to town and went shopping...a holiday can't be complete without shopping! For dinner we went up to Justin's parents and had a little bar-b-que with them and JD & Amy. This was Justin's first attempt to bar-b-que corn...it was excellent! After that we went back down to our house to light off some little fireworks for Maddie and Braden. Maddie was pretty scared at first, but warmed up to it once her dad came to sit by her. Then we climbed up on the roof to watch the fireworks. This year they lit them off in the soccer field across the street from our subdivision, so we had great seats!
Braden showing his American Spirit!
Maddie was scared and entranced by the little fireworks

Braden didn't know what to think of the smoke and flashing colors
Once she had her daddy, Maddie thought the fireworks were great!
Braden's first time sitting in the grass

Slopping the Pigs...

One thing I'm trying to get used to now that we are raising pigs is not throwing any un-eaten food away. Apparently you can feed just about anything to pigs. I cleaned out my fridge this weekend and loaded it all in a gallon size ziploc bag. The pigs were pretty excited!

Harris Family Reunion

It's family reunion time! Last weekend, June 27th & 28th, was the Harris Family Reunion. It was a two day event full of food, family, and fun.
We hardly ever get pictures of Janeen and Brent, because Brent doesn't like to get his picture taken...and he hates to smile...so this is rare!

The family volleyball game was a huge success. Grandpa Caryl even stayed out and played for an hour!

No post is complete without a picture of Braden!
Maddie loves soda...Janeen let her finish off an orange soda and she dribbled it all down her shirt!
Anna giving some of the kids a ride around the yard.
My main man Timmy.
Cooper showing Justin just how you spit out root beer...(Kristina...this was Brent's idea!!)
Tim fell on the asphalt and was crying on Grandpa Jerry's shoulder...check out the big crocodile tear!
Heather's artwork...great job!!
Timmy was so tired when it came to bonfire time. When he gets tired, and his mom's not around no one else can substitute but Grandpa Jerry.
Heather and Caleb playing guitar.
Saturday after breakfast there was a water relay race...Here's Nathan and Eileen showing everyone how it's done!
Kathy showing off her Slip-n-Slide skills.
Netta needs to teach Sarah that you don't crawl down the Slip-n-Slide.
Justin popped a water balloon right over his mom's head!
Janeen missed out on the water fun, so justin had to share his fun with her!
Timmy learning how to use a whistle from his Great Great Grandma Rose.
