We've turned off our home phone because, well, we don't really need it! So if you need our cell phone numbers leave me your email address in the comments!

Garage Cleaning...

It's that time again! We typically clean our garage out once in the spring and once in the fall. And this year it REALLY needed it...It took Justin, Michael and I three hours to clean it out and reorganize...In the end we have room to park (probably just one car), we filled all three of our garbage cans, and filled the X-Terra with stuff to go to the DI. Until the fall...

And the After...still needs a little bit of organizing and going through some things...but much better!

Tub Time...

This will be the last post of {D} and {M}. We dropped them off Friday morning to stay with another foster family. We're beginning to wonder if we're really cut out for this. The hardest part has been dealing with the department, the kids are great.

And on a lighter note...here they are in tub time...the highlight of their day, I think. These guys would have spent hours in the tub if we would have let them.

Jumpoline...

I love warm weather...I love it A LOT...too bad these two don't stay outside for more than 15 minutes without screaming at the back door that they want in. I learned today that {M} is afraid of bugs. She sat on the "jumpoline" as they call it for 5 minutes screaming because there was a bug (this bug was half the size of the head of a pin). Once she gets worked up she's hard to get calmed down. So now they're back inside playing quietly in their room...for now!

Let Them Eat Cake...

I have yet to see a niece or nephew of mine dig into their first cake like Faith did...FYI, the blue frosting didn't wash off.

Faith Turns 1...

We celebrated Faith's birthday today with Jen's family. She didn't entirely grasp the concept of unwrapping presents or that everything was for her.

Happy Birthday Faith...

Faith Marie had her first birthday Wednesday, March 11. I can't believe how much she's grown up!

Potty...

Don't leave a 2-year-old on the potty by herself.

Channels...

Every morning the girls come into our room at 730 and ask to watch "channels."

Our favorite channel: Playhouse Disney

Time Out...

This is what {M} looks like when she's in time out...I love the little curls in the back of her hair!

Weekend at Grandma's...

We spent some time last weekend at my mom's house so I didn't go crazy. We got out my box of dolls that I played with when I was little and {D} thought that was great. (it may have been a mistake to not bring them home). The girls were both pretending to feed their dolls with their sippy cups.

I love {M}'s serious concentration & how she has to hold the baby by the forehead as if she's going to get away!

We did a little coloring...and found out that {M} likes to color on the counter as much as her paper (sorry mom & thanks for cleaning it up!)

I was seriously impressed with how well {D} stayed in the lines!

They had fun playing in the dog kennel...what kid doesn't!

And I have to include a shot of {M}'s super cute shoes! Yeah, I picked those out!

Bedtime...

Just for the record...the number of times {D} gets up to go potty after she's been put to bed have INCREASED the last two nights...tonight's record--4 times in 5 minutes...I know she's just buying time...any suggestions??
