Maddie's Hearing Test...

Maddie had a hearing test scheduled at the Elks today. The pediatrician wouldn't prescribe the sedation, so they called Amy and let her know they needed to keep her up all night to get her to sleep naturally for the appointment...Easier said than done. Amy got her up at 4:30am this morning and didn't let her have a nap. By they time we got to the office she was a Mad Maddie, she played for a little bit with the toys while we waited.

Before they had her go to sleep they gave her a mini facial...they had to make sure her skin was completely clean where they were going to hook her up for the hearing test.
Maddie fell asleep once, but woke up as soon as they started hooking up the wires to her. So I took Braden out to the waiting room, because I was sure he would wake up soon and cry and wake up Maddie. Amy got her back to sleep and had to test her by taking her picture...she figured if she didn't wake up when the flash went off she should be sound asleep.

Then they came in to hook her up.

It wasn't very long before she woke up and started grabbing at the wires. Amy got some pictures before they took them off because it was clear at this point, the test was not going to work.

On the way home she was so tired, but she wouldn't fall asleep.

Better luck next time I guess.

Faith's First Photo Shoot...

We met Tim & Jen at mom's for dinner tonight for a little photo shoot. Justin and I had picked these wings up in Sun Valley to take pictures of Maddie.

Tim was so proud that he had dressed Faith today, he had to let everyone know he picked out the entire outfit, shoes and all!

Tim keeps telling us not to teach her bad habits. he doesn't want her to cry, but she seems to be catching on to that on her own.

Faith has more I Love Daddy clothes than any kid I've seen! Sorry Jen!!

Faith Marie Newman...

Here's the newest addition to our family. My brother, Tim, and his wife, Jen, had a beautiful baby girl yesterday. She was born by C-section about 10:30 am. She weighed in at 6lbs 13oz and was 18 inches long. The first thing I asked Tim when we got there was if he cried...of course he said no, but he couldn't look me in the eye either! We all know the truth!

Of course, you can't post baby pictures without at least one shot of their tiny feet!
Tim kept saying, don't teach her bad habits, I don't want her to cry. I talked to my mom after she went over on her lunch today, and she said Faith cryed almost the whole time she was there....Sorry Tim!

She has tons of dark hair, she definitely doesn't take after Tim in that! Tim didn't get any hair until he was 2.

Right before we left, Jen's mom brought the boys by. Mason was more excited about the baby than Kaden. Kaden was more concerned with mom. After they held her for a few minutes we asked them if they were done, Kaden said yes, and Mason said no!

Jen's was pretty excited about this small baby. She was really hoping she would be small like Tim. She had both Kaden and Mason naturally, Kaden was 8 lbs and Mason was 10lbs.

Future Pianists...

Timmy and Maddie love playing Grandma's piano. It won't be long before they're starting piano lesson's from Uncle Justin.

Playing Wii with Grandma Geri...

Mom and Grandma came over on Sunday, March 2nd and after we were done scrapbooking, while Mom made dinner, Grandma and I played Wii. She was really good, and I think she enjoyed it!

Neen's Birthday...

While I was uploading pictures, I just realized, it was Janeen's birthday, and I didn't get any pictures of her. Sorry Neen!! Jesse and Jori came over from Idaho Falls for the weekend to see Braden and the rest of the family, so Saturday night was a busy night at Ma and Pa's.

Baby Shower...

Last Saturday we had a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Jen. We had a great turnout, and she got some pretty cute stuff. Stay tuned for more updates....Baby Faith is scheduled to be here March 11. White and Pink Nike's from Grandma Geri

Walk a Mile in My Shoes...

I've been waiting for my mom to send me these pictures of Mason. I received two pairs of shoes for my birthday and Mason had to try on both pairs. The first pair looked like hip waders when he stood up! He's such a funny kid!!

Family Pictures...

Tim and his little family came over last Saturday to help celebrate my birthday, and I couldn't stop myself from making them sit still just long enough for a family picture. Even though this isn't a great picture (not my idea of a terrific backdrop) Tim did agree to another Family Pic closer to Christmas for their Christmas cards...so I'll have another chance. So here they are. Jen, Tim, Kaden and Mason.

Before they settled down for a picture I had to let the boys run off some energy. One thing I love about Tim and Jen is that they don’t just send the boys out to play, they go out and play with the boys. Tim and Kaden were playing soccer, and Mason was chasing Lexie around the yard trying to catch her and pick her up. Each time he succeeded he would let her go and start again.

Wedding Bells are Ringing

Tim and Jen went to Coeur d'Alene today to get married at the Hitching Post. It was just the two of them, and our cousin Chris and Tosha. Tosha was great and sent the pictures right away. So, here they are....
